Mike's Ultralite (powered hang glider) lesson. I’m in the back seat, with the real pilot/instructor in the front, though I got to fly it about one third of the time we were in the air! We left from a private airport on the south shore, and flew over about one-fourth of the island, including up to the main crater, around 5000 feet. The flight lasted an hour, and was a fantastic experience.

I’m following the shoreline back to the airport so we can land.
