Tech Inspector: Evaluate car for suitability for high-speed driving and maneuvering on a race track. Evaluation to include, but not limited to inspection of at least the items shown below. Enter in block if item passes, if item fails. With the possible exception of brake pad/shoes, inspection should be done to extent possible by visual examination without disassembly. Feel free to use “comments.”
   Brake Fluid -- DOT 4 or better, less than 2 months old (no limit on silicone); resevoir full & clear
    Engine, transmission, differential -- absence of excessive leaks, mounts tight
   Brake pedal -- firm and high
   Hoses, fuel lines -- good condition, securely fastened
   Brake calipers, cylinders, lines, and hoses -- no leaks or bulges, everything serviceable and suitable
   Accessory drive belts -- good condition, proper tightness
   Brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums -- serviceable and suitable
   Tires -- serviceable and suitable for 100+mph (VR or better preferred)
   Brake light -- working and bright
   Other leaks -- oil, grease, water, gasoline -- nothing out of the ordinary 		   Radiator -- not likely to fail
   Tie rod ends -- no excessive wear
   Exhaust system -- appears sound and secure
   Ball joints, king pins -- no excessive wear
   Throttle -- quick and positive return action
   Suspension -- no excessive wear or weakness of springs, shocks, and other components
   Driveshaft, half-shafts, joints, and bearings -- appear sound and secure
   Front wheel bearings -- not too tight, not too loose, and smooth turning
   Steering -- no excessive play, no binding
   Battery -- hold-down secure, caps tight, terminals clean
   Wheels -- true, serviceable and suitable (check wire wheel spokes)
   Body and frame -- no loose panels, dangerous protrusions, or structural decay.
